Schalke defender Sean Kolasinac has been told Arsene Wenger will remain in charge of Arsenal next season.
Arsenal are in advanced talks with Kolasinac about a Bosman move.
The Daily Mail says the fullback, who will replace Nacho Monreal as the club's first choice left back, will sign a four-year deal.
And Kolasinac has agreed to join under the proviso that boss Wenger will remain at the helm.
Similarly, talks over new deals for Arsenal's current stars, including Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Kieran Gibbs, will be conducted based on the understanding Wenger is staying.
