Sead Haksabanovic is ready to grab his chance with West Ham today against FA Cup opponents Shrewsbury Town.
The exciting Montenegro international attacking midfielder is set to be given a chance to impress at the New Meadow
“Hopefully I will play and I'm really excited about the prospect of showing what I can do, as it's a big game for me and a big game for the Club," he told whuf.com.
“I played my first game against Bolton and I was a bit nervous, but I think I did quite well, so it would be good to get another opportunity. It will be important for me to show the manager what I can, because I want to play. And if I want to play, I need to take that opportunity."
He added: “When I was in Sweden, I always watched games from the FA Cup, as well as the Premier League, so I know quite a lot about it.
“The biggest thing I can remember are the finals are played at Wembley, so I'd love to play there. I am too young to remember when Freddie Ljungberg, who also came from my old club Halmstads, and scored a brilliant goal for Arsenal in the final in 2002!"
