Scunthorpe striker McBreen considers York move

The 30-year-old has made only 10 appearances for the Iron since arriving on a free transfer from Falkirk in August 2006 due to a series of injuries.

McBreen has recently returned to full fitness following a long-term groin problem, but has failed to force his way into manager Nigel Adkins' first-team plans due to the current form of Martin Paterson and Paul Hayes.

The Australian has recently fallen further down the pecking order at Glanford Park following the arrival of Millwall striker Ben May on a three-month loan.
