Scunthorpe United striker Paul Hayes hopes Patrick Vieira makes his Manchester City debut in tomorrow's FA Cup tie.

The difference between moneybags City and modest Scunny is illustrated by Vieira's reputed £130,000-a-week pay deal.

Hayes, 26, said: "It'll be a culture shock for him and the other City stars. It's a small ground and the away dressing room isn't the nicest. We'll use it to our advantage.

"Patrick's pay is more than our entire wage bill. But I'm an Arsenal fan so it'll be good to see Patrick here.

"I played against him for Norwich when he was a Gunner."
