Scunthorpe United hope to extend the loan of Manchester United midfielder Oliver Norwood.

Norwood has spoken about moving to a Championship club in the second-half of the season.

Assistant manager Chris Brass told thisisscunthorpe.com: "Manchester United are happy enough with his progress and we'll speak with his bosses as well. It was unfair to talk about it until he had spoken to his club, but we know where we're at. We'd like him back at Scunthorpe."
