Relegated Scunthorpe United have reportedly turned down an offer from Peterborough United for Michael O'Connor.
The 23-year old midfielder was one of the Iron's best players in their ill-fated season last term and has attracted plenty of interest during the summer transfer market.
Scunthorpe are determined to hold onto him and have rejected a bid from the Posh who are looking to add some quality to their squad that gained promotion from League One last season.
