Scunthorpe United are chasing Manchester City's flying Irish winger Donal McDermott.

McDermott is back at City - and on the club's trip to Abu Dhabi - after a spell with Chesterfield, but he will be sent out again by boss Mark Hughes.

Scunthorpe have been tacking pacey and confident left-sider McDermott and will be allowed to take him on shortly once he is clear of a slight hamstring injury, says the Mirror.
