Scunthorpe United midfielder Michael O'Connor is believed to be attracting interest from Championship clubs Hull City and Swansea City.p> The 23-year old Northern Ireland international has had a stellar season for The Iron, scoring eight goals and providing four assists from 24 starts.
With Scunthorpe set to play League One football next season, O'Connor could remain in England's second division and from early reports could land at either KC Stadium with the Tigers or Liberty Stadium with the Swans. O'Connor, who is also being linked with Scottish giants Celtic, has come on in leaps and bounds since his days at Crewe Alexandra and his loan at Lincoln City and would be a great addition to both club's squads.
