Scunthorpe United boss Alan Knill hopes to keep hold of Everton defender Shane Duffy.

Although there has been no conversation between the two clubs about extending the deal, Knill is confident it won't be an issue.

"The understanding was that Shane came and played as many games as possible and I've got to say he's done really well," he said.

"The intention is to keep the loan going and while he's playing in the first team I'm sure Everton are happy."
