Scunthorpe boss scathing as League insist Millwall clash goes ahead

Ian Baraclough has criticised the Football League's decision to allow Scunthorpe United's game against Millwall to go ahead.

The Irons Saturday teatime trip to Millwall is still taking place and Baraclough is unhappy that fans are having to make an arduous journey to London in difficult weather conditions.

"They seem to be a law unto themselves, blissfully unaware of people being able to travel to games," he told the Scunthorpe Telegraph.

"You're expected to try to put a product on, because we're primarily there to entertain people.

"But if people are putting themselves in danger to get there, for me that's not going to happen. They (the League) have got to take things like that into consideration.

"I think people have got to be sensible about it, but while it's on, and unless we're told otherwise, we'll try to do the best we can."
