Scunthorpe United boss Brian Laws was delighted with the performance of Manchester City goalkeeper Eirik Johansen on debut.

Johansen impressed in defeat to Coventry City.

"I was delighted with his performance," said Laws.

"He was gutted because he wanted to keep a clean sheet, obviously, but I see good, positive signs.

"I think he'll give us some strength at the back as well."
