A scramble is on for released Fulham midfielder Steve Sidwell.
Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew is keen on the veteran.
However, West Ham United, Crystal Palace and Stoke City are also thought to be interested in Sidwell, who scored seven goals for the Cottagers last season.
