US soccer network GolTV has picked up the broadcast rights to the William Hill Scottish Cup, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. The bilingual broadcaster will televise Scottish soccer's most prestigious club knockout competition for a multi-year period, after acquiring the rights from IMG.
GolTV will broadcast this year's semi-finals on 18th April and the final match on 30th May. Its 2016 coverage will commence in February and will include live and exclusive coverage of all tournament matches in HD.
"We are excited to add the William Hill Scottish Cup to our portfolio of soccer properties," said Rodrigo Lombello, GolTV's chief executive. "Not only is it one of the longest running European tournaments, it's also one of the more exciting competitions to watch."
