The Scottish Cup has been officially recognised as the world's oldest football trophy.
Scottish clubs have competed for the £2million piece of silverware since 1873-74 and this week, The Guinness Book of World Records rated the 'Scottish Association Challenge Cup' (original name) as the oldest trophy in association football.
The trophy, which was won by Celtic last season, has also been credited as the oldest national football trophy in the world.
During its 137-year history, the Hoops have won it 35 times, Old Firm rivals Rangers have saluted on 33 occasions and Queen's Park have taken it home 10 times although their last triumph was in 1893.
