Scottish clubs go on scoring spree in pre-season friendlies

Four Scottish Premier League clubs were involved in pre-season friendlies yesterday with all of them getting amongst the goals.

Kilmarnock managed a 4-4 draw to Second Division Brechin City at Glebe Park whilst Aberdeen were too good for Highland Football League side Deveronvale, winning 2-0 thanks to goals from Andrew Considine and Peter Pawlett.

St Mirren produced a 2-0 result of their own over Second Division Dumbarton at Strathclyde Homes Stadium with goals from Gary Teale and Steven Thomson as Greg Tansey netted twice in Inverness Caledonian Thistle's 4-2 victory over English League One outfit Yeovil Town.
