Scott delighted as Spurs winger Bostock scores twice on Brentford debut

Brentford boss Andy Scott was delighted with on-loan Tottenham winger John Bostock after his two-goal scoring debut in their draw with Southampton.

The Tottenham Hotspur youngster joined on a month's loan on Friday and fired a first-half brace that looked like earning the home side victory, only for Lions substitute James Henry to snatch a last-gasp leveller.

Scott said: "John's a special player. Any lad who's bought for big money at 15 has got to have something.

"He's physically strong, and has outstanding vision. After seeing him in training the lads thought he was Zidane!

"He took his two goals really well."

shows how much u know about spurs we dont have a reserve team

Bostock is a great young player who has proved he is to good for League One, should keep him at Brentford until his loan runs out then maybe think about loaning him out to a Championship team! a better standars of football will do him a world of good and it could also show us just how good he really is! I honestly think from what ive seen from Bostock that he should be playing week in week out for a championship team, but this is a good first step for him at Brentford, senior football is better than playing for the reserves.cmon you spurs!!!!!!
