Celtic skipper Scott Brown has welcomed 'Celtic fan' Joey Barton to the Scottish Premiership.
Barton, who is a self-confessed Bhoys supporter but recently oined their arch rivals Rangers on a permanent deal, claimed that Brown is not in the same league as him.
However, Brown has shrugged off Barton's comments and has claimed that the duo will get on great in the Old Form derbies in Glasgow next season.
Brown said of the former QPR and Burnley man: "I've not been in his league. He's in my league.
"I think we'll get on really well, him being a Celtic fan. So I think we will get on great. The Rangers-Celtic games will be good."
