James Morrison insists Scotland will be using unkind words from the Croatian team to motivate them this Friday.
Croatian players have commented that they will be looking to boost their goal difference in the Group A World Cup qualifier in Zagreb, suggesting the Scottish side are not up to it.
But West Bromwich Albion midfielder Morrison made it clear that Gordon Strachan’s men will be coming to play even though their qualifying campaign is over.
"We will put it to the back of our minds at this stage but once the game comes on Friday we will try to use that to motivate ourselves," Morrison said.
"It is not nice but we are concentrating on our training week. We are doing double sessions and working really hard.
"There are a lot of new players trying to get used to each other and so we are just going to concentrate on our game and let them deal with themselves."
