The Scottish Football Association have confirmed that the Scotland national team will meet Estonia in a friendly next year.
Craig Levein's men will host Tarmo Ruutli's 49th-ranked Estonians at Aberdeen's Pittodrie Stadium on February 6 as preparation for their 2014 World Cup qualifying double header against Wales and Serbia the following month.
"It is important that we continue to take the national team throughout the country and I am sure our huge support in the north east of Scotland will turn up in numbers," said Levein.
"Like our recent victory against Australia, the Estonians will provide a tough and relevant challenge at the midway point of our World Cup qualifying campaign.
"The Estonians have improved markedly in the last two years. They reached the play-offs for Euro 2012 against Republic of Ireland, and they will provide a good test."
Scotland's Group A qualifiers kick-off next month against Serbia at Hampden Park three days before their September 11 meeting with Macedonia.
