Rangers midfielder Kevin Thomson has almost certainly been ruled out of Scotland's crunch tie with Norway on Saturday. Thomson hobbled off after a tackle with Gary Brady during St Mirren's 1-0 victory over Rangers on Sunday. The former Hibs player will require further scans on Tuesday to establish the extent of the ankle injury.

Derby winger Kris Commons is struggling with a hamstring strain and is also doubtful for Saturday's World Cup qualifier.
