Scottish youth chief Mark Wotte is holding talks with Real Madrid coaching staff over Jack Harper.
The Scottish whizkid, who also qualifies for Spain, has bagged a stunning 25 goals for the Bernabeu youth team.
Wotte will spend a few days at the Ciudad Real Madrid complex on the outskirts of the capital checking on the youngster and speaking to youth chief Ramon Martinez, says the Scottish Sun.
Wotte said: "Jack has been playing for Real Madrid's under-16s and we believe he's performing very well. This is a chance for me to go out and see him train and play.
"I will speak to him too. I believe it is important we check on those players who qualify for Scotland, wherever they might be.
"There are possibilities for Jack with our under-17 side coached by Dean Gorre. We cannot ignore the fact we have an available Scottish player at the Real academy.
"I also recently went down to Chelsea to speak with Islam Feruz and the coaches. This can be very beneficial."
