Darren Fletcher is in good spirits according to Scotland boss Gordon Strachan.
The Manchester United midfielder is recuperating from surgery he had on a chronic bowel problem with Strachan revealing the 29-year old is not far off full training ahead of a possible international and club return later in the year.
"Darren is feeling good and a lot better about himself. He's delighted that he had the op," said Strachan.
"Darren says that's the best move he has made.
"His general health and everything about him is good. He's working in the gym and stuff like that.
"We need to let him get healthy - that's the first thing."
