"We will go there and play a different formation," confirmed McLeish. "To play 4-4-2 in Paris would be suicidal, no team in the world would go there and play that, including Brazil. So we will regroup, have a good look at things in terms of personnel, and you will see a different line-up.
"Italy and France will now have the mindset that they are not going to drop any more points to teams other than each other. The result in Scotland was obviously a huge shock for France.
"We will have to frustrate them the same way it was done at Hampden against them. In the first half of that game, we got a wee bit of luck, then when we scored in the second half France got more frustrated. To go to Paris and get something, never mind win, is something not even a lot of the top 10 countries in the world would do. But you just never know in a given one-off game."
