Scotland boss George Burley believes Motherwell striker Ross McCormack is capable of succeeding in the Premiership.
"As for whether he's got the qualities to do well in the Premiership, that is something he's got to prove. That's all there to be done. He's still young, he's had a good season and, if he has decided to go to England, it's a big challenge for him.
"It's up to Ross to show he can do it. He's got to prove he won't just get lost down there. You are never going to stop people trying to move on and improve themselves.
"Ross can play wide or through the middle. He can certainly deliver the ball and his free-kicks are exceptional.
Given consistency and progression of his game, he could do well."
