Sacked Chelsea manager Luiz Felipe Scolari felt let down by the Portuguese-speaking players in his squad, it has been revealed.

The Observer says though Scolari praised John Terry and Frank Lampard for their support, he was disappointed in a perceived failure of Chelsea's large cadre of Brazil and Portugal internationals to take up arms against his detractors within the squad.
