Brazil national team manager Luiz Felipe Scolari has revealed that Julio Cesar is set to join MLS club Toronto FC.
The 33-year old goalkeeper, who is playing back-up to Robert Green at Loftus Road this season, is being heavily linked with a move to Canada which his national team boss suggests is on the verge of being completed.
"Julio is in our group, he should be officially introduced to his new club," Scolari said after naming his squad for next month's friendly with South Africa.
"Toronto should be finalising the last few details and he should be in great condition. There will be no problem with him.
"Lots of players arrives in the United States thinking it will be easy and then end up not playing. They stay for four or five months and then leave.
"We wish he were playing and now he will be. The MLS is not the end of [a] career."
