Nacho Scocco insists he is not about to leave Sunderland despite a tough start to life in England.
The 28-year old Argentine striker has made just six substitute appearances for the Black Cats since arriving for around £3million in January from Brazilian club Internacional.
Reports have suggested that Scocco is seeking the Stadium of Light exit door at the end of the season for a possible return to former club Newell's Old Boys but he insists that he has no such ideas.
"I have not considered the possibility of returning to Argentina but a return to Argentina is always in my plans, Newell's are my priority there, but let's see," he told Argentine radio show America & Closs.
"I am under contract with Sunderland, when the season is over I'll talk with the board and the staff and see what I'll do.
"I came willing to play, this is why I want to talk with the board but I am a Sunderland player, I have two more years of contract here."
