Manchester United new boy Bastian Schweinsteiger is confident that his days on the injury table are behind him and that he will regain his best form next season.
Schweinsteiger, who joined the Red Devils from Bayern Munich on Monday, only featured 15 times for the Bundesliga champions last season as his campaign was disrupted with several injuries.
The Germany captain told MUTV: "Of course, I had a tough World Cup so after that I was injured until I think end of October.
"But, then I had great weeks and months with Bayern, I was not injured and I am feeling great now at the moment."
The 30-year-old, who played under United boss Louis van Gaal during his time at Bayern, added that he was ready to continue his successful career at Old Trafford.
"I know him [van Gaal], so it was a little bit easier, but it's not about him, it's more about the club, such a big club with tradition and, with this quality in the team, we can win titles next season," he added.
Schweinsteiger won eight Bundesliga titles with Bayern as well as the Champions League and will be an important addition to United as van Gaal looks to rebuild his squad ahead of their upcoming Champions League campaign.
