Schwarzer preparing for Fulham's Europa League visit of Twente

Australian goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer will be in action on Thursday night (UK time) as Fulham host Dutch club FC Twente. The Cottagers are at home to Twente in their opening Europa League group stage match and will be looking to improve on their domestic form which has seen them pick up just two points from four outings.

Fulham were in great touch in their eight Europa qualifying matches as they kept six clean sheets all with Schwarzer in goal, whilst scoring 15 times and conceding just twice.

But now is the real test as Dutch Eredivisie runners-up Twente come to town looking to kick-off their campaign with a win.

Schwarzer's Socceroos teammate Brett Holman will also be inaction as AZ Alkmaar host Swedish club Malmo whilst Nathan Burns' AEK Athens are away at Belgian club Anderlecht.
