Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer was full of praise for his side following the weekend's 2-0 win at Wigan Athletic.
The Cottagers scored in each half to record just their second victory of the season and although it wasn't a completely convincing performance, Schwarzer was delighted with how his teammates came up with the goods when it mattered.
"That definitely wasn't our best performance but I think there were patches in the game where we played well,"he told the club's official website.
"We took our chances, that was the biggest difference, we rode our luck a little bit at times but we've also been lacking a little bit of luck so far this season. So it was nice to be on the other end of it this time.
"We knew that with the guys we have up front, we can turn defence into attack very quickly. I think the guys up front played really well, utilised their chances and scored two really good goals.
"Everyone was in the right frame of mind and like I said, we had a little bit of luck but we capitalised on it."
