Australia goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer expects to see out the remainder of his contract at Middlesbrough despite being linked with a move.
Schwarzer has turned down the initial offer of a contract extension and he has been linked with a number of clubs, although it appears the 34-year-old has decided to remain on Teesside in the short term.
"Not a great deal is happening. My agent [has been] speaking with Middlesbrough over the course of the last couple of weeks and I'm assuming in the next couple of weeks as well," he said.
"As far as I'm concerned I've still got one year left to go and Middlesbrough doesn't want to let me go and I'll be staying until the end of my contract at least."
