Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer is excited about Martin Jol's new-look team.

Three of Jol's summer signings started the game, along with Academy graduate Alexander Ka?anikli?, and Schwarzer admitted his pleasure at the ease with which everyone has settled.

"When you've got new players added to the squad, it's always important to have that core of a team that have the experience and know what it's like to play for Fulham Football Club," he told fulhamfc.com. "I think the players that have come into the Club have done extremely well.

"Dimitar Berbatov is an excellent player, everyone knows what a great player he is and he's been excellent for us since the day he arrived. He's a top pro who is happy to help out the young boys and I think he's a massive plus for us and we've seen that in the games he's played."
