Chelsea goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer is a massive fan of Belgian youngster Thibaut Courtois.
The Australian veteran and the Atletico Madrid loanee came up against each other when the Blues met Los Rojiblancos in the semi-finals of the Champions League last month with Courtois coming out on top.
The highly-rated 22-year old, who is in his third season-long loan at Atletico from Chelsea, is preparing for this weekend's Champions League final against Real Madrid before focusing his energies on the World Cup with Belgium and Schwarzer was quick to wish him all the best.
"I said to him after the game when we played in the semi-final that I thought, first and foremost, that he was outstanding on the night but I also wished him all the very best firstly for the Champions League final and the league title (challenge), but also for the World Cup, it's an enormous few weeks for him," Schwarzer told Goal Australia.
Courtois has emerged as one of the best goalkeepers in the world over the past few seasons and is expected to play a key role for Atleti in the weekend's final in Lisbon before taking the glove for the Rode Duivels (Red Devils) at Brazil 2014.
