Australian goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer believes the squad and officials that will be heading to South Africa for next year's World Cup will be more equipped than that of 2006.
The Socceroos surprised all and sundry with their performance at Germany but Schwarzer is confident they can do even better next year.
"The preparation and organisational skills behind the scenes to this campaign compared to four years ago is ... more impressive," Schwarzer said.
"It's because there isn't the euphoria like last time when we qualified on home soil in dramatic circumstances. Trust me, this has been extremely challenging and Pim has done a magnificent job."
