Schuster satisfied despite Real Madrid defeat

"Both teams wanted to attack and create chances, although we are still not in the best condition," said Schuster. "We've been working very hard in the last two weeks.

"I do not like that we're always having to come from behind. I think that in the second-half we could have levelled because we had several chances. I am content with my team. They have done what I wanted.

"I have been planning to play [Mahamadou] Diarra alone in midfield, but tonight I also paired him with Guti and it worked well. It's important to have options available.

"To have a player like Guti is important for the team because he can control the game and score goals. We have him here for that, but we do not depend on him."
