Bernd Schuster was back at Real Madrid training yesterday.

It was the first time Schuster has been spotted at Valdebebas since their dismal defeat at Real Valladolid.

The coach took training with his No2 Manolo Ruiz and even played in a bounce game amongst his players.

Real fullback Royston Drenthe said: "It would be a shame to lose Schuster.

"I have a great respect for him because he gave me my debut with Real Madrid and from day one has supported me."
