Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster insists he was happy with his players after their 2-0 defeat at home to Juventus. Schuster, denying that he heard any boos from the Bernabeu fans, declared: "We don't need to look at the weird stuff.
"We have failed in the minor details, but tactically we have been phenomenal because it was sometimes difficult to create chances. We sought solutions and we found our quality, but we have failed in the minor details."
Alessandro del Piero struck both goals for Juve and Schuster added: "We are forgetting that Juve is a great team and has a way of defending which makes it difficult for any team. We had clear chances, more than I expected, but the team has done what it had to do against difficult opposition.
"This cannot be forgotten."
