Schuster delighted with "complete" Real Madrid performance

Real Madrid moved six points clear at the top of the table after their 3-1 victory over Sevilla last night.

Gaby Heinze, Raul and Gonzalo Higuain hit Real's goals and afterwards coach Bernd Schuster said: "I saw a very complete game from my team. It was a game where there were fewer setbacks than what we've experienced in the past. It was an important victory, not so much because of our rivals, but because of what happened against Valencia."

Schuster, who left the media waiting for his appearance as he chatted with German tennis champ Boris Becker, also said: "We've been talking about title-deciding results for the past four weeks. Today is no different. We've simply beaten a very difficult opponent. Last week we lost three points against Valencia and now we have gained three. We must take it one game at a time.

"We are in charge of our own destiny and that's the best way to do things. I'm not concerned about who is in second-place."
