Borussia Monchengladbach head coach Andre Schubert has refused to blame the rescheduling of the clash with Manchester City game for his side's 4-0 defeat in the game.
The Champions League group stage fixture was originally scheduled for Tuesday night, but it was postponed to Wednesday due to heavy rain in Manchester.
Schubert said: "We've not been very happy the last two, three days.
"Everything's run against us. It's very different to three days at home - you're in a hotel, there's the stress of travelling.
"But that's not the reason we lost to Man City.|
"We couldn't stop their build-up. We didn't show quality in defence. That's why City won so clearly."
Sergio Aguero scored a hat-trick while youngster Kelechi Iheanacho a late goal as City easily accounted for Gladbach at the Etihad Stadium.
