Manchester United are still unsure over Paul Scholes' plans beyond the end of this season.
The People says United have tied up the likes of Ryan Giggs, Patrice Evra, Darren Fletcher and Michael Carrick on new deals in recent weeks.
But quiet man Scholes, 36, has yet to commit to a one-year extension - and the timing is starting to cause concern at Old Trafford. The midfielder has been quick to give his decision for the past few seasons and the delay has led to doubts about how long the local hero plans to go on.
Scholes is taking longer than normal to put pen to paper and United are hoping that he will sign up - but are aware that this could be his final season.
