Paul Scholes says Manchester United's young players will benefit from last week's Carling Cup final success.
"Beating Spurs and getting their hands on a medal will give some of the younger lads confidence when they are used from now until the end of the season, as there is no doubt they will be," said Scholes.
"They are confident lads anyway, with great ability, so when called upon I am sure they will contribute.
"Competition in lots of different tournaments is a big challenge but that is what this club is all about.
"You want to be involved in everyone for as long as you can and try to stay in a strong position.
"We are a long way off yet but hopefully this year it will be all the way in all of them."
