Scholes impressed by new Man Utd teammate Hernandez

Paul Scholes has been impressed by his new Manchester United teammate Javier Hernandez.

The veteran midfielder believes United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has done great business signing the Mexico striker.

Scholes said: "People say we haven't signed any big names but the club is investing in the future with players like Hernandez and Chris Smalling.

"I was impressed with Hernandez during the World Cup he looks a good player, sharp and quick. He has an eye for a goal and being at United will only make him better.

"United is a good club for improving youngsters and sometimes it's not about spending huge money on ready-made players. The manager has a history of investing in young players and with the transfer market so inflated developing raw talent makes sense."
