Manchester United great Paul Scholes has applauded the exciting display of new signing Memphis Depay in the Red Devils' 3-1 win over Club Brugge on Tuesday.
Depay scored two goals and set up another in his first Champions League outing for United.
Scholes, who now works as a pundit for BT Sport, hailed the positive intent and composure shown by Depay to guide United into prime position to qualify for the group stage of the Champions League.
"He was brilliant tonight and that's what United fans want to see - somebody that excites you, somebody that gets you on the edge of your seat and he also produced a great cross at the end for Fellaini as well," Scholes said.
"He looks brilliant from what I've seen tonight, showing a great bit of skill and composure for the first goal."
