Paul Scholes has lauded the achievement of fellow Manchester United veteran Ryan Giggs.
The 38-year old Welshman notched up his 900th appearance for the Red Devils yesterday, marking the occasion with an injury-time winner to help beat Norwich City 2-1 after Scholes' early opener.
Scholes has saluted the winning goal of his midfield mate as well as heaping praise on him for his brilliant career thus far.
"It was almost as if it was written for him really - 900 games is amazing and to do it for one club and Manchester United is even better.""Just to play that amount of games for a top club is a great achievement from him and he is still going strong as he proved throughout the game and, thankfully, getting us the winner in the last minute," he said.
