Scholes confident Man Utd kids can push through

Retired Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes believes the next crop of kids will be able to step up for the famous club.

Retired Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes believes the next crop of kids will be able to step up for the famous club.

As the likes of Edwin van der Sar and Scholes himself bow out of the game, the former England international says the future of the club is in good hands with the likes of Ravel Morrison, Paul Pogba and Ryan Tunnicliffe.

“I’ve watched quite a few of their (youth team) games and I thought they were brilliant,” said Scholes told The Daily Mirror.

“They looked like men already. They didn’t really look like kids because they’re built so well.

“They’re strong physically and have got the talent to go with it.

“You are probably looking at Ravel [Morrison] to come through, Ryan Tunnicliffe and Paul Pogba, but there are a lot of talented players.

“We’ve trained with Ravel and we know what talent he’s got - hopefully [he will fulfil it].”
