Columbus Crew have created a little extra padding at the top of the Eastern Conference. After victory over New England Revolution, Crew coach Sigi Schmid praised the team's performance on americasoccer.com: "I wanted (the team) to feel the weight of a big game.
"I wanted to see how they responded- and they passed with flying colors."
In the first half of the season Columbus Crew found form quickly and were then the team to catch, after slipping in the table recently, a return to form and return to the top of the table is making sure the headlines are back in Columbus.
