Sigi Schmid said the impending arrival of Obafemi Martins will do plenty to excite the Seattle Sounders supporters.
The 28-year old Nigerian striker is set to soon sign with the Sounders from Spanish club Levante and Schmid is looking forward to seeing firtshand what he will bring to CenturyLink Field.
"Obviously when you're trying to add a designated player, you expect him to help your team," Schmid told the Seattle Times.
"He's a player who's been able to score goals in some of the toughest leagues in the world, so now if he can bring that talent here - he's fast, he's left-footed, he's got some explosion to him - I think the crowd will enjoy him."
