Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel is urging Harry Maguire to sign a new deal.

Schmeichel signed a new five-year deal on Saturday and hopes England World Cup star and Foxes team-mate Maguire is ready to do the same.

He said: “I hope Harry signs but I don't want to put pressure on anyone.

"But if he feels it's something he wants to do then obviously we would be delighted."

Schmeichel was speaking after defeat to Liverpool.
