Kasper Schmeichel is ready to commit to a new deal with Leicester City.
Schmeichel will sign his new four-year contract this week, says the Leicester Mercury.
The 27-year-old will become one of City's highest earners but reports he is set to earn £40,000 per week are wide of the mark.
