Kasper Schmeichel was delighted to keep a clean-sheet on his Manchester City debut in their victory at West Ham on Saturday.
Schmeichel told mcfc.co.uk: "It was a fantastic experience to play in the Premier League, but also to take part in a game like this. I thought our play was fantastic at times, and our supporters were brilliant throughout. Credit to West Ham's fans as well, it was a fantastic atmosphere when they got behind their team."
"It's a split-second quicker than anything else I've played in, players think and react just that little bit faster. With the likes of Ljungberg, Zamora and Ashton, you know what you are up against but I thought that especially Micah and Dunnie, and the whole team, handled them really well.
"We rode our luck once or twice, but I didn't have that many real saves to make. There was one in the first half that I tipped onto the bar, but it was already ruled out for handball, but I didn't see that.
"Nedum went on this incredible run, maybe the Brazilian influence is rubbing off on him! I've never seen anything like it, it was unbelievable and from where I was it looked like he nutmegged someone!"
